ROUGH
LINGO (CD RELEASE PARTY) + ROLLING DRUNKS + SIOFORE Der
Name ROUGH LINGO bedeutet soviel wie “raue Sprache” oder
“derber Slang”… und trifft auch auf den Kern der Musik: rau
und ungeschliffen. Und trifft auch auf die Texte. Und trifft
auch auf das Cover ihrer neuen CD. Sie haben heute Abend ihren
neuen ungeschliffenen Diamant dabei: “Freund oder Feind?”.
Unter der Stille erhebt sich der perkussive Rap-Gesang,
vermischt sich mit schnellen Tempowechseln der verzerrten
Gitarre. In der Stille bewegt sich was. Der Rough Lingo-Stil
lebt vom Kontrast zwischen harten Gitarrenriffs und melodiösen
Passagen: “Progressiver Crossover” also. Mit wohlkalkulierter
Provokation gepaart mit Gesellschaftskritik und
zwischenmenschlichen Erlebnissen trägt der Frontman Patrick
Fürniß, alias Hace MC, dem Publikum sein Anliegen vor. Tolle
Musik, tolle Texte, tolle neue CD. Mitfeiern wollen an diesen
Abend auch zwei weitere Bands. ROLLING DRUNKS ist
“die” Münchner Rock’n’Roll-Band um den Frontmann und
Songschreiber Horst Jabs schlechthin. Die Formation um dem
begabten Sänger kann sich auch sehen lassen: Thomas Weick
(Leadgitarrist, Mitbegründer der Karlsruher Prog-Rock-Band
“The Formula” aus den 80ern), Georg Grimm (Bassist, bereiste
die Welt schon mit Ausnahmekönnern wie Albert Lee, Tony
Sheridan, Chris Farlowe, Joe South, Mike Warner, Christine
Albert) und Conny Wind, der mit der amerikanischen Band
“Survivor” und in der Backing Band von Alice Cooper spielte. SIOFORE
passen blendend zu Rough Lingo, denn die Band besticht durch
ihre harten, aber melodiösen Sound, der durch den kraftvollen
Gesang unterstützt wird. Die beiden Gitarren liefern breite
und satte Rockklänge … durchaus mit einigen “Metal”-Einlagen.
Melodischer Gitarrenrock ohne Dringlichkeit – mit Schwere im
Sound und Leichtigkeit in den Melodien: Siofore macht es
möglich.
